Heartwood is a connection and matchmaking service operated by Offscript LLC ("Heartwood," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, with specific terms for our SMS (text message) program.
SMS / mobile information — our commitment
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with any third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for SMS will be used solely to operate the Heartwood connection service.
When you opt in to Heartwood text notifications, we collect your mobile number and a record of your consent (date, time, and method). We use it only to send the messages you signed up for — match notifications, conversation handoffs, and related service and support messages.
Message frequency varies (typically 2–6 messages per week). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP.
Information we collect
- You give us: your mobile number, the asks and offers you share with Heartwood, and account/profile details.
- Automatically: basic technical data (e.g., IP address, device/ browser) and message delivery status from our SMS provider.
How we use information
- To match you with other people based on what you're looking for and offering.
- To send the SMS notifications you opted into, and to provide support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile opt-in data or SMS consent with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators. We share information only: (a) with service providers who help us operate Heartwood (for example, our SMS provider) under contract and only as needed; (b) with another user only after you both mutually opt in to connect; or (c) where required by law.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any Heartwood text to unsubscribe.
- Contact us to access, correct, or delete your information.
Children's privacy
Heartwood is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the service, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us information, contact us at support@fromheartwood.com.
