Acceptance

By using Heartwood, you agree to these Terms. Heartwood is a connection and matching service operated by Offscript LLC ("Heartwood," "we," "us"). You must be 18 or older to use Heartwood.

The service

Heartwood helps people connect based on what they're looking for. We show your profile to another person only with your consent — by opening a search, or by saying yes to a potential match — and we connect the two of you only when the interest is mutual. Seeing someone's profile does not mean they have seen yours or liked you; saying yes may lead us to connect you. Heartwood is a first-party connection tool; we do not broker, rent, or sell contact lists.

SMS program terms

• By opting in, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Heartwood at the number you provide, including two-way conversations with Hart (Heartwood's AI matching agent) and match notifications. Consent is not a condition of using the service.
• Message frequency varies — typically a few messages per week, more during an active conversation.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported carriers and program availability may change.

Acceptable use

Be honest and respectful. Don't use Heartwood to harass others, to send unlawful, harmful, or sexually explicit content, or to collect or resell other users' contact information. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers & liability

Heartwood is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any particular match or outcome. To the extent permitted by law, Offscript LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
